Re: Which tailsaver

I made my own in 30 min start to finish, got free diamond plate from work, made a cardboard template, cut it out, drilled holes, put tacky rubber **** for grip, and done!!!

This is the easiest thing to make, they are nowhere near worth $100,just use your brain and do it yourself.

Re: Which tailsaver

stuntd' F4i, yes I saw those pics already. I liked his design because its so close and tight to the tail. he told me his regular tail saver is the same but w/o the cowl, but from the pics it looks a little shorter and that it will rest below the seat. Which would be fine with me.

blee >> I agree these probably are one of the easiest stunt parts to make yourself.

Re: Which tailsaver

Why dont you all save your money and not get these (flip a stoppie and cut your head off) tail savers and just do the good old 2x4 under the tail trick has no one herd of that its what we all did back in the day and it works just fine for No money.

i need to take those pics of the first gen tailsaver down they now go up past the bottom of the rear seat i use the same piece for the standard tailsaver as i do for the tailsaver/solocowl

100 bucks seems a little steep for something this simple, so my broke *** just went for the 2x4 trick and it works great. cost $000 not $100. $100 bucks I should be able to get any custom design cut into it.
