07 gsxr round bar

I just finished fabrication on my own round bar for my gixxer, let me know what you think. I know it looks similar to impact tec design, but you can only invent the wheel so many times.

i think that you should have drilled the sub at its thickest part instead of the flimsy middle part and the "u" bar part is gonna bend up when scraped cuz its not braced properly

the sub is plated to add strength and the "U" bar has a fully welded gusset. but thanks

heres mine, just diamond plate steel on the inner side, drilled in the same section. i have busted the lower subframe.

What are you bumping? I didn't see anything innovative here? GSXR subframes have been covered quite a few times in other threads. Ummm, I do.... I've fabbed more parts on more bikes then I can count. I posted some pics of a GSXR subframe I did. So take a look. I fabbed up my entire 06 GSXR 600 subframe. Sure SL is full of haters, that's what makes me laugh. No one is hating on your bar, nice work if you're looking for kudos. It just wasn't worth bumping. There are a million round bars out there.

Here ya go... Nope, never broke it. Nothing is indestructible though. So I'm sure if I slammed it hard enough it would break, as would anything else. I hit it really hard a few times, but never had a problem. I'll take some pics of the 06/07 subframe.

Is there 2 different round bars made by impaktech? My boy just got his for 08 gsxr and its not all pimped out like dudes. I tell every one with a gsxr or a cbr RR( CUZ OF LOW MOUNTING POINT) to go with nothing else but impaktech, but the round bar my boy just got is a plain *** bar with shitty welds, and shitty powder coating. Still support impaktech!!!!! Only way to go on some bikes, just think he got a bad one.

people build **** all the time for their bikes, you dont wanna get it ragged on dont put it on here. Personally i love building parts for my bike. Beats paying 200-400 bucks and waiting a month to ride. Props to all the fabricators!
