just came up on a great deal for for an 05 636 and was just wondering what the good and bad things are on it. i have an f4i now and love it but im nervous cause it seems like everyone likes the 03 04 better just getting some input

smooth as butter,quiet as ****(stock can),idle pulls hard,tanks are a little small,kinda fragile,nice frontend/brakes,and that pretty much sums it upoh and i DO like my 03-04's better tho

The only thing I don't like is when the 636 went with the undertail exhaust. (I'm not a fan, personally) But you can't go wrong with one. ALL the torque you need. Burn the F4i in my opinion. But that's me... It's just my opinion.

i love my 636, after coming from a 08 600rr i was ******* instantly better. The idle pull is what blows my mind. and its smooth as ****. never ridin an 03 04 so i couldnt compare. If its a deal then id take it.

Good bike subs break and the tank is small but www.c4-revolutions.com has fixed those problems with there bad *** aftermarket subframe and there 3/4" tank lip add. By the way the C4 sub is only 8lbs and still just as strong as the imitators. other sub companys subs are like 16lbs thats way to much to put on your bike.

after you get these parts fixed the bike is just about the same as the 03-04 636 but smoother.

what he forgot to mention is the 636 hes talkin about is SF and its already got a few parts on it for stunts but not like his f4i, his f4i already got esd rear sets ,si subcage,si round bar,si cage,dual cal set up everything basicly ,IMO keep your f4i buddy it will last you a while ,that comes from someone that rides a 636 just my you'll end up breakin parts on that 636 and just downtime and money into fixing it at least till you stop wreckin a whole lot and i dont mean that in a disrespectful way ! your good with that f4i sell the 636 and make some extra cash for a rad. cage on the f4eezy

06 kawi is amazing, but you can do anything on a f4i. They are two totally diff bikes. As far a subframe goes, get a 636 when your done with that tail bashin stage and youll be just fine.

buy it! there nice to stunt, i'm still squid my 05 and 03 hit the ground all the time learninmg circles holds up fine for me just don't plan on doing alot of hard scaps cuz of the subframe

buy it and just hold onto it. ride it when your ready or just resell it for more if its that good of a deal.

i love my 05 636. it just feels right for me. i started on a 03 636, then had a 04 636. for some reason i purchased a f4i next, and had it for about a year, before getting the 05 636.

i like my 06 way more than my 03 thats just me if your tall youll like the 05-06 better than the 03-04 but either way it dont matter i love the 636 but i do have to say if your gonna be hurting to get it stick with the f4i its money too....then my next choice would def. be 05 r6 just me.

i had an 05 wen i started riding...2nd gear shifter fork went within a couple weeks, and i have heard a lot of o5/06 with garbage trannys...my roomates 2nd gear went out he rode it and fucked up his whole trans. 03/04's are supposed to be more reliable in that aspect ive heard, and if im wrong i guarantee someone will let me know lol
