i think you guys will laugh at this
my buddy found this bike for sale and asked me to go with him to look at it and im glad i did just because i havent laughed so hard in forever

when you read it this sounds like it may be a decent deal if you can talk him down some so we get there and the guy brings out the bike
first thing i notice is that funny looking stuff on the tank is a dent with a 2 INCH layer of bondo in it
next i see a frame slider smashed flat against the motor i look a little more the motor mount on the frame has a ***** missing
next we look behind there and the motor mount on the block is EXPLODED
the sub frame wasnt broke but it looked way tweaked
engine cover ground thru w but someone tried to patch it with about 2 gallons of JB weld radiator is smashed in no guages or headlights something is wrong with the wiring because the turn signal will not shut off
then i ask him about the motor he says oh yeah its good i started it and ran it it revs up good had her running for about 10 minutes now in the back of my head i remember the right side case cover has a hole in it so i check the dipstick NO TRACES OF OIL
at this point im just in shock because the guy said this is the 10th bike he has owned but he started it and ran it for 10 min with no oil
finally i say you no you will never get close to your asking price of $1800 and you no what he says "maybe i can find someone stupid and they will buy it for that much ive done it before" so not only is this guy trying to sell something i wouldnt even give him $100 for he is trying to rip off someone who doesnt know all that much about bikes

well it had a piece that went down in the motor and had a fill and max line sry if its not the correct term

he told us out right he paid 750 for it and never looked at it bought it from an insurance auction
my favorite part is that he mentions nothing about the FRAME AND BLOCK NEEDING TO BE WELDED

hopefully not im going to post something on craigslist about it i dont beleave in people being screwed out of there money i no we all work hard for the extra money we have to fund our hobbies and the way this guy is talking he is gonna sucker someone into buying it but it has to go thru inspection being a salvage title and im pretty sure you cant pass inspection with a re welded frame and motor

correction i have now posted an add so hopefully anyone who looks at the bike will have a little more on the backstory than what the guy tells you
