This thread is the equivalent of Megan Fox and Anna Kournakova making a porno w/ me starring in it.

Who are you in that fantasy??? Ana or Megan???

Some progression pics from this afternoon.... guess what??? 58 Teeth fitted in, without slicing, cutting off, grinding or even scratching the swingarm...

Chain"ring" ready for putting some nice holes thru it...

Drilled, bolted and almost ready to rock (tomorrow im giving the teeth the right width to start with alignement and tensioning solutions)

Pimp *** 520 o-ring-less Gold Chain... :D

My calculations where correct... :D (hope it happens the same with chin alignment, tensioning, chain sliders, and with all the handbrake **** im planning right now....

Re: BMW F800 Stunt Projekt, WHAT YA THINK???

While i wait for my sprocket teeth to be machined down (i got a heat treated chainring by mistake, its hard as hell and need special tools to trim it down)

I will plan my handbrake system, i will try to make history and use a bicycle master... it may need some work as its designed to work with mineral oil and DOT4 would melt the seals in a blink... But if it works... :D it would be really blingy, lots of adjustment possible, superb looks and parts available easily....and...its cheap...

This is it... Its already bought, just have to wait for it to arrie home... :D

Re: BMW F800 Stunt Projekt, WHAT YA THINK???

What is the material that the bicycle master and internal piston is made from?

Also what type of o-ring are you planning on using, may I suggest Buna-N as it is excellent for heat and glycol applications and will not swell? You may need to machine larger o-ring seats in the piston to accept the new o-ring material.

I have worked with o-rings extensively in the past (previous designer for Greene Tweed in Houston, TX). If you have questions shoot me a PM anytime.

I THINK i got everything under control...i got some aeronautical aplication nest full off all kinds of seals one of them may fit and hold against abrasive power of DOT4 :D anyway, thanks!!! If i get into trouble ill PM you...

Thanks for your support... I really appreciate it!!!

Back on the bike...I got good and bad news...

Bad news first!

15/58 ratio... Doesnt work... the chain cant be tensioned, not even at the limit of the eccentric axle...

Ill get a 59 teeth sprocket tomorrow... some turns in the lathe and try again...hope it works!!!

Now the good news... :D Teach just sent me 1 of 2 boxes with parts from the US (Thanks a lot CHAMP!!!)... This first box contains: Cage, 16T front cog and front fender.
I estimate everything will be here in 12-15 days... I trust USPS, im afraid of what could happen when the package arrives at my local customs...

And... I already have my foot master taken apart, ready to make an adapter, as soon as i get my shimano SLX hand pump so i can measure the hose terminals...

wow, props to teach for hookin u up. Thats funny bout the gear, when i saw it i went damn that looks heat treated. We use ceramic inserts in our tooling to cut HT materials. So is teach gonna keep his 800 or is he strictly on his 1k now??

We cutted trhu the heat treated teeth using ceramic/widia tools... takes a little longer to trim but its not big deal...

Teach gave me a great hand with this parts hes sending me, no way to get them over here, and too difficult to build them up from zero (specially the fornt fender and airbox cover...)

Regarding the F800//S1000rr... I really dont know, i guess you should ask him!!! :D It may be secret or something like that i guess :D

Im talking about 1 link adjustments.... +1 too much slack even setting it the furthest back -1 wont close the pin even as close at the sprocket allows...

As jcf4i said....it doens have the required amount of adjustment....the bikes been thought to run with a belt transmission... wich is of a known lenght anf doesnt stretch as much as a chain...

Tomorrow ill try with 15-59, as far as i know anyone tried the gearing before... it must fit right on, otherwise, its wasted time and cash agian..

Re: BMW F800 Stunt Projekt, WHAT YA THINK???

Victory!!!! (at least for the moment :D)

I machined a 59T sprocket to avoid cutting off the swingarm and guess what??? It fitted right in... Chain tension problem solved and even shorter gearing than before...

And I already figured a template to make a custom teflon chain slider... Need to get the material somewhere else, my town is really small and not much rare materials are available...

The hidarulic lever is still on its way home, just like Teachs package...

Thats all by now... Ill keep you guys updated... :D
