online store stunt/motorcyle parts store??

aight so i'm thinking of starting a online store to sell stunt and motorcycle parts, after reading about online stores being slow about orders and having issues myself, also not having all the selections at one store i want and having to order from 2 different places and pay shipping at 2 places, so i was thinking of starting my own online store what do you guys think about this idea?

if you can beat the competitors, i say go for it. youll prob do really good. the stuntin market is huge and i dont see a end to it. im also gonna open a ipod/iphone repair store. you can do it online with mail in orders or bring your device to me.

what competitors?

hai sunk
warped toys sunk
esad methods never got off the ground
and any of the other random sites with **** poor web content i wouldnt trust with a piece of used toilet paper. there is no one stop shop that im aware of anymore. hai was the only one that did it right for a good while then they took a dive.

yah they closes the retail shop awhile back and thats when the online **** started taking a dive. theres been a **** ton of threads on here about ppls orders getting lost/taking forever, no responses from email etc.... enough of them for me to change my mind about ever ordering from a shop i used to love

sketchy def hooks it up but he doesnt have a website to go to where you can make orders. i also think he is a bit limited on stunt parts, not positive but i dont think he has accounts with places like SI, TS and other **** like that.

Re: online store stunt/motorcyle parts store??

Here's your major issue. If the direct company (lets say FI) is back-ordered already, and then someone goes to your store to order the FI cage, then its going to take you forever as well to get the same cage. Unless you have the funds to have EVERYTHING in stock from ALL the major stunt suppliers, I wouldn't even waste my time. I bet thats the same issue that endless moto and hai both had.

If I had a couple of willing, capable and dependable people around me I would start one tomorrow. With parts in stock.. The sad part is, I already have the website Name a storefront, multiple advertising venues and the cash

I just don't want to do it and have it go bad with customer service..
