Rider Down....
This is absolutely horrible to hear about...
In the back of my mind whenever taking clovers or speeding or doing anything, when I see gaurdrails or metal posts, or anything that could take off a limb or severe you in the event of a crash I'm always praying nothing like that will happen to me or anyone else. Almost makes me sickened thinking about it. Truely sorry for your losses John.

If I can help in any way please let me know. I'm clear over in Iowa, but can do what I can.
I guaruntee that in like 25 years guardrails will be all redisigned so they don't have posts every 2 feet holding them up. Its insane how many guys on bikes are killed or maimed from the posts of guardrails.
i had a friend loose a foot to a guardrail. She was able to have full use of it again though. I hope everything with him works out great and im happy he is still alive. Best wishes to his family!

I got the news yesterday afternoon
I really hate hearing about this kind of stuff but the good thing is that he is still alive and will be there to see his child grow up. My prayers go out to John and his family!

It sucks bigtime Gregg.....One of our friends lost use of his body from the Chest down last season.
My prayers are with him and his family.
makes you wonder why? sorry to break it to ya but it's because the stuff we do is dangerous as hell, i don't beleive that things happen for reasons, i believe in cause and effect. sometimes i think about how dangerous the stuff i do is and i know there's a good chance bad stuff can happen, you just gotta sacrafice for it,way it goes, all worth it to me tho, at least thus far

yes the guardrails may be a problem. but that is still no reason for someone to be doing stunts in an area that is not only risking your life but the lives of others.
I'm sorry to hear what happened. Good luck to you and your family.
