Re: ready for winter

I wanna setup my bike for ice, whether it be my f4i or dirt bike.. But I REALLY don't wanna waste a set of good tires

If I did it, i'd have to use old worn out tires, which I'm sure wouldn't perform well

haha personally I don't have too much of a problem with winter, I just hate snow and ice and below 30f temps

but I'd much rather stunt in 45f temps then 90f temps! Hell would rather stunt in 45f then 85f! Can't do nothing about the heat but sweat ***** and be miserable, in 45f in 10 minutes of stunting I'll be down to a tshirt to not overheat

ideal riding being around 55-65 for stunting, 75-85 for the streets

i studded old tires for the ice, not completely wore out, just spray the inside with bedliner then put tire slime in them... it works wonders!!!!!

just saw this thread. Winter? I live in NH and yesterday it was 63 and today mid 50's.

But if you want, I have a lot to ride all year round, I own a plow truck and keep the lot cleared all season long. Let me know if you want to take a weekend trip up to ride. But if I were you, you could drive 6 hours in the other direction and ride in warm weather.
