Sooo......final testing has been completed. The verdict is that the needle bearing that comes standard with the RSC Ultimate edition makes the lever a bit smoother, and creates less fatigue throughout a full day of riding. Granted, the difference is small, but as we all know after clutching up all day.....every little bit helps. The RSC Ultimate Edition is identical to the standard RSC, except it comes equiped with a needle bearing vs. the Delrin bushing found in the standard RSC. At the moment, shorty levers are the only option. I have been told by my machinist that full length levers should be available at the end of next week.

No...not a BIG difference. Testing showed a bit less fatigue at the end of a full day of riding, with a slightly easier pull. Honestly....I feel that the Delrin is more "buttery", while the bearing is more "poppy"....it's kinda hard to explain without feeling it yourself. The Delrin seems to give the clutch a more even feel throughout the levers sweep, while the bearing gives a more snatchy feeling right at the clutch engagement point. That's the best I can explain it...

Im digging my non-ultimate. Much better than the msr i had on before. Two comment i have is that the lever seems a little to close to the bar for me(with the set screw all the way out) but my fingers are long. Also i think that the lever could have been filleted a bit more cause it hurts my finger after playing with it awhile.

But i havent rode with it and i wear gloves so id probably be alright

If you are asking me about my foot.......its gettin there. Another couple weeks of minimal wieght bearing, then start in with the PT. Thinkin I'll be clutchin up again in abot a month.
