Galfer superbike braided brake lines

Any of u ever ran these little Jewels??? They are 2 into 1 steel braided lines that have a Thermal Heat sleeve and Gold fittings on all of the ends. They run in front of ur fork tubes as well which is a gangster look .They have fittings that thread into the calipers which eliminates the banjo bolts, and then threaded ferrol type fittings on the lines themselves. Not too expensive either and Pimp **** I tell ya

http://www.galferusa.com/html/superbike_lines.html

Heres mine installed on my RR

Re: Galfer superbike braided brake lines

Ive had them, nice lines, nothing spectacular...

I have all my lines custom made by Spiegler USA now...Nothing beats the truely custom fit, and fitting and color range they offer....

And you can do the true superbike style front lines with a T fitting

Re: Galfer superbike braided brake lines

These are very nice lines. Ive been riding on them today for a few hrs and the fit was perfect. (Mine are Bike specific ones) They feel the Exact same as my 2 seperate line setups I had used for about 5yrs now. I expect to pick up 900 gazillion feet by tomorrow with these

Don't hit anything where the hardline bends it looks like it sticks out to far and could snap easy.

I was thinking the same thing. I use custom lines from plumbing shop, they have a super thick coating on the outside.

side note- anyone tried -2an lines, opposed to the -3an ones.

Re: Galfer superbike braided brake lines

I used these on my race bike Love them they let the brake fluid flow so much faster to the piston and your brake feel sweet. Looking good rowdy I should get me a set for the stunter.

Re: Galfer superbike braided brake lines

The are awesome lines for the track and combined with a quick release thay are awesome. Not the preferred line for street or stunt though in my opinion.

We have all our lines custom made by HEL which come in dozens of color combinations and are awesome lines

I have had galfer lines on 4 different bikes without any issues. That was until the front lines on my 636. The banjo separated from the line during hard braking and shot fluid everywhere while riding the twisties. Luckily I was able to save it and not crash. Galfer replaced the lines and the new set has been fine for the past year.

well if you were the only one to tell this story i would say fluke but those lines fail too often for me to ever even consider using them ...

brake line failure is unacceptable. . .
