go to a parts unlimited dealer and check the conti motion tire they just lowerd the price and its a goood tire

 

goto the a motorcycle dealler and look through there used tire pile, or ebay

 

yeah did that. found one. just wanted a vender or someone who could sell me tires for like 90-100 bucks. cuz i would buy through them FOR E VER. but yeah i found some _ Continental makes a tire for 125.

 

check the bt016 out i get them for 220 shiped. competition accessories

 

$220 a tire is expensive as hell!!!!!!! lol

 

I always check the tire piles at dealers I havent bought a tire in for-e-ver.... and you would be surprised how many barely used tires people get rid ofIve rode all summer on a FREE power pilot and i just swapped on a free battleaxe that looks like it had a 1000 miles on it....

 

i am a cheap bastard but i pay good $ for tires. i buy them at cycle gear or online from motorcycle accessory warehouse, so i get the best price i can. i dont do burnouts so this only happens about every 6 months. i hate used tires or race take offs. when you have a nice mint tire and break it in the way YOU want to it really affects your game quite a bit. its the only way to go. also its a good idea to get into the practice of changing and balancing the tire yourself. no matter how trained or how reputable someone is there is no way theyll take the time and care handling your bike as you will. i like my wheel to be scratch free, the lips of my rim taco free, and the bead of the tire untorn, and doing it myself is the only way this can be accomplished.

cycle gear had diablos for 199 a set a few weeks ago i dont know if they still have them... the funny thing is i work at a motorcycle dealership and they cost me more to buy them from my store at a huge discount than to buy them from there or motorcyclesuperstore.com

 

yeah they got a good price and i think they are on backorder if the shop doesnt have them in stock

 

are they giving them to your for the actual wholesale rockbottom price that they pay or just giving you a discount?

 

yeah i checked all the piles around rockford and there arent any. found one but it is worn down the sides pretty bad. I got so many dirty looks looking through a pile though. i jsut told them i am not going to use more than 6 months why buy 100 dollar tire to shred.
i know that select few is a rockford group.. maybe they beat me to t. or maybe they just buy new.... i have not alke to any of them..
ill pry buy a set. found some for 200 even...

 

i check twice a month at dealers, u might luck out and find a great pair.... i just picked up a barely broken in perelli the other day for free
