the wera forum has alot of good people...but there are a ton of close minded individuals as well....they've really bashed me in the past, actually, about a week ago too lol...like below the belt type of bashing, but i guess that's to be expected on a race forum, like i said, behind the douchebags on there, there are some intelligent people as well....

 

Agreed. I said I was going to sign up and post it, but after I thought about it, it just seemed childish to keep pushing it.

As there is with every forum. They have keyboard racers and we have keyboard stunters. Usually it those guys that talk the most **** on both forums. Unfortunately the format of text sometimes masks the underlying sarcasm in some posts and then things get out of control. But from my experience, most of the time they (Racers) are more respectfully welcomed on stunt forums than the other way around....

They all someone said about you was about wearing proper gear while stunting. If you haven't figured it out most of those guys have know someone or have themselves been hurt on the track or off of it. For me it has been both. That's why everyone is always harping about not stunting or dragging a knee on public roads, etc. People will also call them douche bags as well. I believe someone also commented on how you lost your leg and and called BS on your story. I think it is great that you are trying to promote yourself but on a roadracing site? Really? Come on man.

 

i have pretty thick skin from being in the army for 5 years but there's already been a couple people on here that have come across wrong, they're definately brave sitting behind the computer at home but quarentee they wouldn't get clever like that to one's face. just suckes how easy it is for one person to **** things up leaves a salty taste for a 1,000 people on the other side of the fense.

why not? if someone is trying to get there name out there its only common sense to go everywhere. look at mcdonalds, world wide right? they didn't sit in a board meeting and say "yeah i don't think we'll do very well in germany or australia" they promoted themselves everywhere and now they're the biggest fast food chain in the world.

I think this is funny as hell of course... BUT The fact that u probably just added to Even MORE hate to our lifestyle/sport might not have been the smartest thing. Now we all know Ill K.I.G to the fullest when it comes to street sessions, but posting that on the largest roadracing forum in the USA wasnt the smartest thing u did today buddy. Do u know how many of those people attend AMA races that we do shows at every year? As well as WERA events? Ur only making my job harder u *** The only thing Im more tired of hearing about than the 70mph wheelies in traffic, being Careless & imprudent is "Have u seen that Black guy on tv,whats his name? Jason something? Well he does the same stuff ur doing , but he's on an all stock bike"

Nothing but love guys, But this is the reason the majority of u do shows for free, if not for pennies. Noone will take u seriously when u approach them because we are all Hooligans
