kind of seems like rossi has a sense of humor about which is cooler, granted its a scooter, but still..... i do track days and ride wheelies, love em' both i really didn't think there was as big a beef between the two sides.... but i will say its probably just a jealousy issue and if i was a roadracer i'd def. be more jealous over dudes stunting

 

I'd say face to face, there is no beef between the 2. I go up to the track still to get parts and talk with old friends. It's just on the forums where kids can hide behind the keys...

 

You assumed wrong i was asking legit questions about this sport.I know nothing about it.I looked up those sites.How do you get points?ARe you scored on tricks in a time frame. Points for certain trick ,combo?Any rules.Bike class?Each of those you listed are there own series? Which one is the one everyone wishes they could win,lol.

Yes i am a knee dragger, but for the record...a member from this site posted on wera asking Why we hated stunters.Just out of the blue...and dont why he thought that.Then he posted a vid and the mod told him not to post vids, there is a you tube section for that(theres over 500,000 or more members and vids eat up the bandwitch so they have somthing for vids, somthing like that)but thats why we cant post vids random.Then got into argument with the mod and he banned him.It goes for anyone that acts stupid...and being first couple didnt help.

So back to my questions, i really wanted to know.I have not started any ****, i really wanted to know? So please tell me how it works.I could be your next sponsor and you wouldnt even no it.

and lets be honest here the first few pages of this thread and the spamming of our board with your videos was a hell of a lot more childish than anything I've said.

not only do they have competitive circuits, they have a points system, and unlike most athletes, they brought their sport up from non-existence.

Manstunts, They're not running their circuits so divided as racing, where WERA and the AMA are so hugely different, because at present these various events and promotors make up the entire sport. At some point it will all decide itself, but for now, they try not to overlap competition weekends, and to cross promote.

This is a sport that was just a traffic crime, so the organization and legitimacy they do have has been hard won, the efforts of quite a few people, and often a matter of time, trial and error.

 

Well said. It was hard enough to work at stunting in the begining, but then to watch the development of the sport and how hard some of the old guys worked to make it legit. Now to see how far it's come, I know XDL pays better than the WERA events do......

Plus the Vendor support in this sport exceeds that in the racing industry hands down. That's mainly because the Vendors are/were riders too and they have grown with the sport.

Racers (especially regional ones) are filled with kids racing on mommy and daddy's money or are a bunch of middle-age crisis guys trying to relive their youth. The more money you have, the faster you go in racing. In racing money CAN lower your lap time. In stunting, it doesn't matter what you have for cash, it's 99% skill and 1% equipment until you get to the top 5% of riders, then the better equipment starts to make a difference.

 

I am 1% skill and 1% money. Damn, I suck.
