trying to put my 05 636 wheel on my 03 636 swing arm???? i have all parts for both bikes

 

I could be wrong, but I think you have to run 05 swingarm also.

 

there is certain spacers......idk which ones but you can run the newer swing arm to...

Seems like a lot of extra work for what? Slightly wider rim?

 

its not a wider rim they just look 10 times better, and when its all you have you make them fit

 

ho hey sells the spacers also. It's not much work at all. the 05/06 rims are sweet lookin

 

Actually it's the same width 5.5"

People do it for the looks... only other difference is it's a bit lighter... while at the same time slightly weaker... seems like they are a bit easier to bend than 03-04 wheels...

good mod if you do the swingarm also... otherwise you're better off just leaving the 03-04 stuff on there

 

and if you wantan 05-06 swingarm, i have a complete setup mint. PM if interested....shock, swingarm with adjusters and bearings still in with 1800 miles
