ok, i've got an 06 600rr and i know the sub frames aren't the strongest by any means, i'm lookin to put a bar on the back, but i just can't decide on what to go with. i don't really plan on doin a lot of bar tricks, but i'm wantin somethin back there on the tail to keep from draggin my pipe off as well. round bar or 12 bar? any suggestions or input from anyone would help. i'm trying to find the pros and cons of runnin both kinds of bars. thanks.

 

most of the times on here i've seen ppl just use the stock exhaust

looks cooler/cleaner
won't F your day up if/when you flip a stoppie
no metal corners to land on when you fall
cheaper

Cons...
no bar tricks... just put hole in your seat... and wala

i would go with the round bar. when i see a 12 bar on a bike it just looks painfull to me, i havent seen anyone hit by a 12 bar but im thinking it would suck. lol

yea i think i'm gonna go on and go with the round bar. if i still had the stock can scrappin it could be a possibility, but i ended up gettin rid of it awhile back and now just have a carbon can that i know would just blow up the second i touched back on it any. there still isn't much room under the seat to cut a hole in it though... what works best with that? just cuttin all the way through so that i can see the exhaust or what?
