Most all bike shops sell them for bout $20-$30
Your sposed to sync the rt hand two cyl then the left two...then sync the right two with the left two.

Re: sync issues, any help?

try using a thicker fluid. but sounds like your synchronization is way off or you are using the wrong vacuum ports. dont know about your r6 but on my bike #1 is the reference cylinder and non adjustable, the others get synched to that. no reason to go out and waste your money on a tool youll hardly use. they aint cheap. the motion pro ones suck fluid into the bike so you may as well build your own. "carb tune" is the cats *** of all synch tools, but be ready to pay $
i took a yard stick, zip ties, and some clear tubing from the hardware store. its just one piece strapped to it like a "U" at the bottom and i filled it with automatic transmission fluid. my bike runs like a champ, gets 50 mpg, and pulls like a locomotive on idle. chugs circles at 1k rpms and wont die.

Re: sync issues, any help?

if you make it right you cant get oil to suck into the motor ..

the tubes connected to the motor shouldnt be long enough to suck up oil ..

http://faq.ninja250.org/images/thumb...by_bottles.jpg

the tube conecting the two bottles are the only tubes that should be in the oil . the tubes from the motor should only be in the bottle an inch or so but not far enough to touch the oil

Turn your idle down to stock...around 1100 and the motion pro work just fine.

yes but you have to rev the motor periodically in order to make sure the butterflies are all lined up and seated, at which point it sucks fluid into the motor. and the design of the motion pro is not much different than what i built. omr's post is actually the best method to go with.

yo thanks for the help guys ima try to turn down my idle alittle see if that helps at all, but OMR whats with the bottles mine is just 4 hoses connected and nailed to a board, does that work better and if so how does it work with 2 bottles and it looks like 2 hoses, do you only do one adjuster at a time?
another thing i got guys is my front brake lines, i got some new galfer lines and i got them to hold pressure but its still sloppy cant lock it up. ive tried bleeding the **** outa them used a whole bottle, gonna get more tomarow and try it some more. it feels like its getting better the more i do it but stilll cant lock em. let me know if you know anything about that as well thanks guys

make sure you didnt get any brake fluid on your pads ..

as far as the bottles go it makes it so you dont suck up oil , you just adjust two at a time and then sync the pair together

Re: sync issues, any help?

buy the tool and if your reving your motor that much that your sucking fluid in your doing it wrong... your only chopping the throttle a little bit in order for the T.B. to adjust. i bought the pro motion tool off ebay for like 62 bucks and it works perfectly fine just have to know how to use it....... idk y pple always blame the tool instead of the operator... the tool works maybe you dont work right lol just my

OMR looks like it would work not to sure how accurate from just the picture but def not hating if its accurate

the slightest difference in vacuum will cause one bottle to start filling up raising the level in one bottle and lowering the level in the other ..

Re: sync issues, any help?

yeah thanks agian guys this is what mine looks like. what do you think about this method? my problem is that the left 2 hoses(carbs 1n2) keep going up till they suck fluid in. so i shut it off quick, im thinking carbs 1n2 are way outa sync with 3n4, how do i check that, is it the middle adjuster? and what way to turn it and check, i bet you all say try it and see then try the other way.. anyway thanks for all the help and if you got anymore advice about my method let me know, and the brakes are all good just had to keep bleeding them

Where is your vent? Don't you have to run a vent when using a set of gauges?

My friends set of mercury gauges had a vent, since yours doesn't it might be say pulling air from cylinder 4 into cylinder 1 to balance it out, therefore sucking the fluid up cylinder 1

also thats a gangster setup you got going lol.. What fluid are you using in it?

I might attempt something like that.. Except instead of having T-valves at the bottom, just have a reservoir at the bottom that all the tubes hook into
