Question how long have you been riding?

how long has it taken everyone to learn how to stunt after your first day of riding ......stoppies , stand ups , tank wheelies , windscreen wheelies...ect......nothing extreme like circle wheelies just the basics?

This is my 3rd year riding, 2nd year stunting. Learned some basics last year, this year was the first time I learned 12's. I'm 28 now, and I don't think I push myself as much as I would if I were 19 like some others I ride with. Progressing.....just taking my sweet time doing so!

Holy crap! How did you guys ride so long without stunting?

I honestly couldn't resist when I started riding.
When I bought my bike in May, I promised myself I'd ride safely for the first 2 months at least.
But seriously within my first 2 hours of riding, I couldn't stop myself from trying wheelies! I could pop it up like a foot, and it just progressed every day from there. Now, 2 months later, stunting is all I do! I mean it's just so ridiculously thrilling, I can't get enough of it!

I don't think there is any possible thing I could have done to stop myself from stunting, it's just the most unreal sport I've ever gotten into. I've skateboarded for 7 years and snowboarded for 6 seasons, and stunting a sportbike is as much of a rush for me as backflipping 30ft gaps snowboarding or boardsliding 10-stair handrails on my skateboard.

I guess maybe I got into the sportbike stunts early because I'm used to doing other similar stunting activities. What were some of your reasons for holding back for those first months, or years?
