we had a motor x track down here that made most of it's money from sponsors not riders , they had pepsi for one sponsor ..

if you hold events and get local and national companies to advertise there it's doable

i know bout all the legal bullshit and all that i have a great investor i know its been talked about before but most ppl just talk **** with no backing amatures compete for a shitty trophy because they havent put in the time yet that the pros have thats why you get a trophy and the pros get the money . me and my partner are serious and he is a very good investor and very smart bout his money i know its gonna be hard but deffinately can be done..

well i wish you the best of luck im from roanoke and we haven't had a legit spot since the beginning of the summer we had to drive an hour every time since

 

If it's something you really wanna do then go for it, if you can pull it off it'll be worth it in the long run, screw what everyone else thinks

 

Yeah I used to get on the parkway every now and then but it's not safe and I had a 60 t rear so it took a hella long time but the top of bent mountain has a few good straights but johnny law is waiting to lie if he has to about a stunt bike riding a wheelie even if you weren't....

 

im deffinately looking for more sponsors and backing i got the legal thing on my side and the money thing for my partner isnt an option we was looking to spend no less than 150000 on this if you gonna do it do it riht for sure . Im not trying to waste anyones time just needed some feed back i think it will work it will be slow starting off but will eventually build up.

 

**** Yes we are. I rode in Feb. It was 12 degrees, it was so cold, my neck burned. My roommate wrecked his BRAND NEW Gix cuz tires just wouldn't heat up... and cuz he can't ride, ANd I still had a muthafuckin ball

 

i was thinking bout holding maybe some car shows bike shows there maybe some dealer shows just odds and ends that will help out alot

 

every extreme sport has been in the spot that we are in right now it just takes time to get it bigger and ppl that give a damn about what we love to get it there mx had a hard time i raced mx for years and have seen it go from nothing to where it is now stuntriding went from underground street and now is starting to climb just needs that little boost . if you take and ask 50 ppl off the street what stuntriding is they are gonna be clueless and then if you bring it to a place like that they are amazed because its somethin they havent seen before i think in the next 3 or 4 years pro stunt riding will be in the x games .

 

well just remember you cant pay for **** if you give out too many hook ups lots of companies go under because of friendship just my lil 2 cent I would love to see this succeed then when I come back from o town I got a nice church sesh in va

 

thomas from xdl ,stuntride magazine and stuntride.com is supposed to be putting on an exhibition stunt event at the 2010 x games..

 

Go for it..... **** doesnt happen if you dont go all in and try. If there was a stunt park here, i'd be there everyday. ****, I'd even do my part and help it get done... promote... etc.

 

All the haters can flame me for this if you want but here goes...

Why not try this:

1) Use an existing abondoned/vacated structure that you can buy or lease that has already been paved and maybe you just need to knock some walls down for free space. Use the support beams to built structures on to stall, etc. Other events can be held there to keep profits up.
OR

2) Build one of those sports dome type structures and install a vent system for the fumes. Other events can be held there.

I know both of these are pricey but a lot less pricey than building from the ground up.

Also, the people that do this have to be in it for more than the money. If your heart is truely into something you will succeed. Obviously profit should be a concern but should not be your sole source of motivation.
