Re: Thank the O.G. Thread!
Most of the og's names have been mentioned. just want to add some more.
1096 Matt Gorka, Thew Blankstrom(dunno if I spelled it right) Thew was the acrobatic destroyer. I seen him at xsba 2002 in PA killing ****.
Ronie Reality,Dead christ innovator
Dte Damien, Boston strangler innovator
Dte chauncey, I think he was one of the first to do a no hander?
Teach, because you Teach nuff said. I did a seat stander down landsdown street during the boston street ride recently and thought of the urban 1 clip when you were talking all that **** before dte's segment. Love it.
The original Street fighterz C&I 1. First stunt video I ever saw in 2001. Them guys were killing Bp wheelies on r1's on the highway for days. As soon as saw that video I sold my ducati 748 and Got an 01 gixxer 750 because I idolized Thews acrobatics and lvx pauly.
Merk, first no handbrake hc scrape I ever saw in 04 at lakeland. When I asked how to do it He was like dude just stay on the gas until the bar hits then slip the clutch and let off the gas. Way easier said than done.
A year later I got the ***** to go for it and nailed it myself on my 900rr.
last but not least my boy carmello vasile from ct who was doing engine braking flamingos on the highway on a suzuki bandit 1200 when I was in baby diapers.
Take away big sprockets and handbrakes and only a few would be able to do any type of off the rear brake wheeiles
Theres more name but that's all I got for now. Good post it really got me thinking
