cut down 636 front fairing pic post

whats your guys fairing look like is it curved or straight how much did you have to cut to rock clipons almost straight ?

Here's is a couple pics of my upper off the bike. It was cut to clear flipped stock clipons pushed out straight on a Hohey triple. Everything cleared perfectly with it cut like this. My hard drive died so I don't have any pics from when it was on the bike but you can get an idea of where to cut.

Here's how mines is cut, this way fit 2.5" rise swatt bars and fits ho hey wit 0 degree bars turned straight out

i am unable to post pics, on my 03 i cut it curved. auctually i bought it wrecked and both ears were already broken off and all i did was cut the windscreen down and it looks better then stock in my opinion. you can pm me your email address and i can send pics that way. Dan

I used a little air saw and then sanded everything smooth.

i cut mine right at the second bolt of the wind screen and i have the stock clip ons but flipped and in basically a straight line...the curve is all up to you but if you do high chairs and you have short legs you might not want to curve it too much...
