Re: *ace run*
Maybe if the kid actually knew how to do a real rolling burnout on a stretched bike ,which it easy as hell on one, I would watch it. But this kid is just revving it up and using the clutch like "yut ughhhh YUT UGGHHHH YUT UGHHHH" what was he riding anyways? the new gsxr600750100?
Re: *ace run*
That is a little bit unnecessary and is a classic jumping the gun without knowing all the facts. First of all before you say anything to me remember that I spend hundreds of hours of my time making videos for you guys and I'm not getting paid a dime. In fact I've spent thousands of dollars on software and hardware so it's costing ME money. I also rode all the way from NYC to shoot the ride. Now the facts:
I do this for you guys because I enjoy doing it but Evil Twins is a business. You think it would be right for me to post up too much of my better stuff when they are trying to sell a DVD?
I did not like the last video and would not call it professional...BUT I'm not getting PAID, don't want to get paid and the people in the video might appreciate it a bit more than you did. If you don't like it then don't watch it. I'm not doing it for you but everyone. If I do a really hot stunt video there are those that will HATE it and say you guys are squids for not wearing full gear. If I post up guys in full gear doing twisties you might say thats lame there are no stunts, but I don't care. I have no need for anyone's approval. If one person likes it then great...whatever.
I'm not a cameraman, an editor or sound designer. I'm a visual effects artist. Could you shoot better video than me? Maybe. Better edit? Maybe. Visual Effects? Dream on. Now, as a person who is not getting paid and has a full time job and then is taking what little time I have to do the job of 3-4 people what time do I have to even make my own stuff (visual effects) look as good as they could?
On top of it all I had little to no support in doing this. In order for me to do my thing to the max I need cooperation but since nobody asked me to film anything I'm not complaining but you are for some reason.
Finally...Yes, I have MUCH better footage and tons of wheelies and stunts, but I'm not going to post them up out of respect for Evil Twins. The only thing else I was going to do was to do a longer teaser that showed more wheelies but only for a short time. Just keep jumping from wheelie to wheelie so more people would get a chance to see themselves, but I might just **** you off if I posted that. So why should I loose more weekend riding time just to **** you off with another video?

Re: *ace run*
I completely agree with you. The effects were completely overdone cause I was trying to cover up the fact that I'm NOT a cameraman. It's like some amature came up to me with garbage footage. There is only so much I can do with it. Now IF I was getting paid I could have spent the extra time and hooked it up anyway. But I was like, this sucks but I'm not spending any more time on this for free since I have my own production to do and am going to get fired if I keep showing up late at work because I'm doing this stuff. And this was not a stunt video, the last one was. This was a "really powerful bikes blowing down the highway video" for those that like that sorta thing.
I know this is a stunt site but rather than assume that everybody here is only into stunting and can't appreciate anything else I posted it up thinking that some would appreciate it especially those in the video. Personally I'm all about motorcycles of all types. I like stretched Busas, Street fighters, Dual Sports, Daytona 675s. I make no assumptions about what you guys will like and not like.
Some people need to relax. They act like I'm doing videos to impress somebody or prove myself. Thats like watching a professional MotoGP racer take an exit ramp on the highway and say..."Man his riding sucks, his lines are terrible. He doesn't now how to turn man!". Ummm...he's just trying to enjoy his weekend, not impress you or win a race. Judge their track riding not their street riding. Love my casual work or leave it alone, don't act as if it's my professional work. Especially when I'm the guy that might pay your toll for you on the highway even though I don't know you, just because you are on two wheels.
Relax...breath....

Re: *ace run*
Doesn't the same apply for stunts? Seems like EVERYBODY wants to do a wheelie and few can do one that is much different than everybody elses. I'm telling you it's all about personal preference. I could easily find a ton of people that would say they got better things to do than watch a bunch of guys all doing the same thing, raising up the front wheel and kicking out their feet. No matter how hot you think something is, somebody else thinks its "wack!". That mean you enjoy what you enjoy and keep quiet about what you don't...UNLESS, you are PAYING for it.

Re: *ace run*
First of all, if you have something post it, we don't care. Don't hold back because you think you have better footage then we do. I appreciate the sentiment and the respect. Don't think that anything we post online for free is even close to our best footage.
We are only a business in the loosest sense, we are not rolling in dough, nor do we even make a profit off of selling Mass Mayhem dvd's, at least not yet. This is not our job, we do this because we enjoy it.
Lastly if you post on this site be prepared for some harsh criticism, some constructive, some just outright hating. It happens.

Re: *ace run*
Don't attack etp, mass mayhem was made cuz me and kev wanted to get the local riders known. WE don't make ****. Like keith said we do it for fun. We put more time and money in this than making money (which once again we don't make ****).
Not to be rude but we never asked you to come film us. You chose to. So putting your time in and saying its for us is wrong, its for you and your project not us.

Another thing
You just signed up for this site.
Who do you know that stunts?
How long you been involved in the stunt scene?
Or
You just filming us to make your dvd to make a quick buck?

Re: *ace run*
I'm not making a DVD. I couldn't if I wanted too because you could all sue me. I do also do commercial projects but I have no interest in doing anything bike related for money. As you can see from some of these posts it's not worth the hassle, not too mention I'm not capable of making a lot of money with the relatively small market that there is for this stuff. If I wanted to make money I would pick something more mainstream and I would work with professionals (not just do all the work myself).
As for my project. It will be available for free on youtube for all to hate or love. Trying to make money this way is simply not worth it for me. If people are this harsh for free work, what would happen if I charged? lol No thank you.

Re: *ace run*
The quality of your footage versus mine is not a consideration. It's just if I knew I could footage of something that I'm in for free and it's decent quality (not even impressive just decent). I might consider not paying to get the footage elsewhere. I mean you have helicopter footage!! I can't compete with that and I know people are really looking forward to seeing that stuff. Not to mention I'm sure your guys have way more experience than I do shooting this kind of stuff.
As far as people hating. Well...you are right and I know better but like everyone else, I'm not perfect and can't help myself. I know I'm just wasting my time and I've been on here long enough to know that some people here have been so burnt by parasites in the past that they would not trust my intentions if I got a 100 top stunters to vouch for me. Fortunately I don't need anyone to trust me. for those that do I can be a great resource as I like to help out others when I can. For those that don't....just too bad for them but I wish them all the luck.

Re: *ace run*
Ok I'm done with the neg talk. Just remember this, any feed back neg or positve makes your clips better. Don't matter how good you are there's allways a hater. Just blow off the neg and use there feed back to make the other clip better. I been making **** quality videos on youtube for years, and I use any feed back for the next one.
For filming its not that hard, ill say what was told to me. When filming and looking through the view finder, look at it as your looking at the tv. If you think of a shoot that you know will look good on tv get it.

Re: *ace run*
Good advice!! Thanks. I agree...even with people hating, I'm still actually listening to what they are saying and taking mental notes. So even though I don't know how to shut the hell up...I'm actually benefiting somewhat from the hate...hopefully that will mean the love will come later with the real stuff.

Re: *ace run*
i read this **** and realize how f**ked up people are today , your input is great but the attitudes suck, who cares whats in it, its all good
just ride and care less about the vids. or is there just not enough of the bad *** stunters in there. and what a video needs is for all you bitches to get rid of your hand brakes and go out there. Now thats talent. F**k your couches.

I'm not hating nor was I downing you. I was simply giving my honest opinion on your video aka that it sucked lol...
I would not worry about taking away from the Evil Twins by posting your BEST stuff because everyone I know will still buy MASS MAYHEM 4 when its comes out to see some of the sickest rides, Tricks and video coverage out there! (AKA EVERYONE BUY MASS MAYHEM 4!!)
So no matter what you post up...I don't think it will have any effect on Evil Twins Video sales.. BECAUSE THERE VIDEOS ARE ******* AWESOME!! LOL...
But seriously I'm not hating man, Just think if you really enjoy making these videos and posting them up for the world to see, then you should really take a little extra time to think about what type of footage would be best when making a video and posting it on a STUNT fourm...Streched bikes for pretty much the whole clip with shitty *** effects that look like A 12yr made them (Just my opinion of course) Really doesn't do it for me or make me want to see what else you have done.
Now if you put some good footage up with Some stunts and some sick action shots of the ride, I would have immediately checked out all your other videos to see what else you have done.. If you really truly love this ****, Put A little more time into thinking about what people want to see instead of just beating the video to death with "visual effects"... Just my 2 cents anyways...
