So i flipped a stoppie last night and fucked myself up flipped it at like 40 not to bad but the **** hurt. Just curious who has flipped them and if it is still in the back of your mind everytime you jack one up?

Also if anyone has an upper and a ram air tube for 05-06 636 let me know

 

I flipped them before didn't get hurt so it really didn't bother me.

But first day out this yr I flipped one pritty hard, back seat landed on back of my neck, powers subcage to the ribs. It hurt like hell, thank god I had gear on or I woulda been really fucked.

I haven't attempted any stoppies since.

 

See thats where im at i was really confident with stoppies but **** man that **** hurt man the bike tumbled on me.

did not flip one but i lowsided on at about 60 (cold day cold tires) and it put me on the ground quick.big ugly hickey from my ribs to the middle of my leg..i saved one from flipping and when it came down i snapped my acl.i still think about it but no pain no gain .then again do i have to gain this much? you know what they say just like shampoo; mad skillz stunt crash repeat stunt crash repeat.repeat until crash is gone

havent yet,but I have a feeling im gonna get hurt real bad once I do. I roll um real tall and smooth so if it happens I dont thik I'll have time to jump outta the way

 

i havnt fliiped one yet either....but when i was runnin a 12 bar there wasnt one day i rode, that flippin and that bar goin into my neck or spine, didnt cross my mind.......round bars = happiness!! Lol

 

Yea i have a round bar and it didnt catch me too bad but in the flipping motion my subframe snapped in half lol that you Kawasaki for the weak *** sub.

I've flipped one and man did it hurt. Something punctured a hole the size of a dime in my elbow. Took a long *** time for that to heal along with the bike falling on top of me which fucked my shoulder up bad, took a while for that to be 100% as well. I don't think there is a worse feeling then being past that balance point during a stoppie and knowing there is no way out. And its always in the back of my head ever since then but it happens to everyone one time or another. If there was only a way out lol

 

theoretically, shouldnt you be able to save a stoppie in certain sitiations by releasing the clutch and revving the engine to spin the rear tire?

 

havent flipped one yet, been getting higher and rolling longer though. . .my two concerns are hurting my bike (biggest concern of course) and the bike landing on me (**** happens).

 

I think when you are at that point where your rolling and about to flip it everything happens so fast that yeah you could possibly do that in theory but i dont know about someone being quick enough to do it and be successful....

i flipped a endo like 2 months ago i went down around 40 45mph and i was just in a tshirt and jeans i fu#ked both my forarms up with some good road rash and it was my first hard crash and when i got back on my bike like 2weeks later and i really dosent even come to my mind when i rideing or doing endos for me i just never think about till now when i seen this post

 

Yeah but for the most part only people that have ridden Freestyle/motor X know how to do it well enough to save a stoppie from flipping. I've seen it happen twice, but that **** takes someone who can react within MILISECONDS yah know?

 

Went over on my yz125 about 6 months back.. hurt like mad and bent my handle bars, not happy bout that, got it fixed and stayed of the front end.. aint tryin them again till i feel relaxed about them, good luck though mate
