f4i help

Doing a 1000rr front end swap on my f4i. Can i use the 1000rr top and bottom triple? Or would i need the 929/954 triples?

you can use the 1000rr tripples you just gotta grind down the steering stops so you can get full steering radius. darius said that 929 tripples are better for some reason i dont remember why but i ran a full 1000rr set up on my f4i and it was pretty nice.

Re: f4i help

and if you do use the 1000rr triples dont grind the steering stops all the way off. just do em a little at a time till you get the turning radius that you want. leaving a little bit of the stops keeps your forks from banging into the frame

Re: f4i help

watch your tire/radiator clearance if you run the clip-ons above the triple
