Yes.....I finally got a legit spot to ride w/ a signed liability waiver. I never thought the day would come! Its a decent spot.....a parking lot kinda shaped like a dead-end couldisac. Has a little 30 yard straight leading up to a roundish lot thats probably about 30 yards in diameter. Sunday will be my first day rockin it out. I'll post pics early next week!

Unfortuneately, no. Got Saturdays and Sundays, all day though!

 

How did you go about approaching the owner with the idea of using it?

 

Got lucky!I'm a glass blower....and this customer came in asking me to do some work for her. She just happend to be the new owner of Mendo Mate'....an energy tea company. I knew they sponsored extreme sports athletes in the past, so I showed her a video, and asked if she'ld be interested in sponsoring me. She was very excited to see the vid, and said there was a definite possibility. I told her about another sponsor I had approached about a spot to ride.....her eyes got all big and she told me I could rock her parking lot..

Now we're talking about a full blown paid sponsorship, and me doing shows for her once a month...

Know how that feels bro, we just this year found a legit spot to stunt here in the Northeast DFW area, even lighted !!!! Long warehouse dock area that's been closed for a while. Cops have actually sat out there and watched us stunt.

Yeah...it's good stuff. Ashland is such a ****** cool town! I grew up in Yreka, right across the border....which happens to be a shithole!

ya man i miss it there..it was a small town i know a bunch of safe spots to ride...my tat shop caught fire and i sold everything and moved **** it..i got a good friend who blows glass up there he showed me a thing or two around the torch..id life to see ur work
