X Games poll

Heres some serious questions pertaining to the Xgames and Gravity games.....please dont screw up this thread with BS

Reply here or email Thomas@outonparole.com with answers

#1 Do you think the games would benefit by having Freestyle Sportbike riding?

#2 As a fan, which would be your favorite events to watch? timed freestyle, longest stoppie, sickest trick.....

#3 Would you be more inclined to watch the games on TV or go see live if they included Freestyle Sportbike riding?

#4 As a competitor, What kind of purse per event would you like to see?

#5 What would you expect to pay to enter each event? Keep in mind that sponsors would most likely cover that cost, and you will probably be on TV.

#6 If KFC wanted to pay you an extra 10k to stunt with a chicken suit on would you do it??

Yup, same as above. For 10k I'd even dress up as Thomas and do wheelies

i agree w/ Dlish

i think our entrance fee should be the same as fmx if the payout is the same.

as long as thier is a big screen on us at all times then the crowd can get into it. if not they will get lost in the fact that they really can't see what we are doing.

being as there is alot of technical things in out tricks i hope that we don't get lost in the background like flatland bmx. it's pimp as hell to see what those guys can do, but it doesn't get recognized like some of the other sports.

i hope that we make it to both of those events and i will do whatever i can do to help us get there.

let's make it happen

Depends on the event. It is hard to include this event because of the amount of real estate you need for stunts.

#2 As a fan, which would be your favorite events to watch? timed freestyle, longest stoppie, sickest trick.....

I think timed freestyle and sickest trick. Longest stoppies is not that exciting.

#3 Would you be more inclined to watch the games on TV or go see live if they included Freestyle Sportbike riding?
Depends if it is in our area. I would travel New England to see it but rather watch a even in Fl or Ca on TV.

#4 As a competitor, What kind of purse per event would you like to see?

Is this a even that will be on TV??? If it is X games. I would say 25k 1st, 15k 2nd, 5k 3rd

#5 What would you expect to pay to enter each event? Keep in mind that sponsors would most likely cover that cost, and you will probably be on TV.

1k-5k per entery. You want to keep the squids out and only let the pro with sponser in. This can not be a free for all but just the best stunters.

#6 If KFC wanted to pay you an extra 10k to stunt with a chicken suit on would you do it??
No problem, I would even crash and get feathers all over the race track.

ONLY ONE EVENT LIKE XSBA. TIMED RUN

#3 Would you be more inclined to watch the games on TV or go see live if they included Freestyle Sportbike riding?

LIVE

#4 As a competitor, What kind of purse per event would you like to see?

AT LEAST 10K

#5 What would you expect to pay to enter each event? Keep in mind that sponsors would most likely cover that cost, and you will probably be on TV.

$0.00 OUT OF POCKET TO BE THE ENTERTAINMENT AT AN EVENT OR COMPETITION. COMMON SENSE.

#6 If KFC wanted to pay you an extra 10k to stunt with a chicken suit on would you do it??

for sure that is a good plan. i would def watch if it was far but most of the time its in cali so i would go to it for sure. sickest trick and timed would be the best 2 events. maybe go 3 min for each rider. that way he could get some stoppies too.

This is sooooo true, hope it doesn't happen with stuntin' also! I'd like to see it go as far as X-Games. Have any of the previous X-Game competitors in various events shared any input on this? If we get all of them to back it, I dont see why it couldn't happen!

Re: X Games poll

#1Yes ,The world had no idea what FMX was a few years ago

#2 timed freestyle,team, sickest trick

#3live is way better, I have been before and tv does no justice.

#4 Our sport is not as big as FMX but the purse should compare since it does cost a lot of money to get as good as the pro street bike teams.

#5. -What ever, the more the fee the bigger the payout. Xgames works on an open qualifier. You have to make it through prelims to ride, That is why a no name guy can always win at xgames

#6 I would dress up in a dick suit , any thing for 10g's

hell yeah thomas!! i think that is what most of us have been working towards. i like the idea of sickest trick or timed freestyle. longest stoppie is good too. people want to see something they percieve "death defying". i think all slow stuff will only hurt the sport because people don't see it as "death defying", that is why i think a timed freestyle is good. it gives the competitor time to mix up the slow and faster stuff! my 2 cents i like sickest trick because it typically is something new and fresh that hasn't been seen at all or by just a few people. it keeps stunters trying new stuff.

what your all forgetting about is the area needed for some of these events.

longest stoppie = RUNWAY , x games isn't going to be able to provide the venue for all of this stuff.

NOTE: XR50's have a much better chance at going mainstream because you can ride them ANYWHERE, but no one listens to me, so I'll be up here in Chicago waiting to take over the world.
