Its a carbed bike however but the ONLY problem ive had is long scrapes and stalls on the bar the bike just quits, other then that its a dream, i run a 60 tooth and its super snappy and smooth as ****, idle pull is ok not great but good. ive personally riden the 636 all years and they are good but i feel like my bike has much more power and response, they have a **** load more idle pull tho. Endos are cake with i think 48 mm forks no inverted but i crank like 250 ftrs and 180's with no trouble, does circles, i dunno what the one guy is saying about coastrs, i kill them too. the frames have some weak points but only if you crash it and the forks smack into it, ive riden mine for three years hard and just replaced the frame over a small crack. heres a pic and a vid, hope this helps, if you have any questions just ask.

the zzr is wrecked in the frt. and the forks need replaced. the guy i am getting it from has a set of forks for an 03 zx6rr with triples i am getting going to see if they will fit the zzr frame. the zzr is an 05. if they fit it will give me the inverted forks. what year model zx6 parts interchange with the 05 zzr

everything interchanges, the differences are mostly cosmetic like fairings and ****, the frame changed to a better mount style but doesnt affect motor fitment or anything. and i KNOW that f4i front forks will fit the bike if you change the races, so anything that fits the f4i will certainly fit that zzrframe front end wise.

don't worry; i am still on the 919 every day. i have put 16k mile on it in a little over a year. but it is my daily rider and i do not want to trash it. if i hit 12 to hard and break the rear frame it is not replacable. reweld or but a new frame. send some pics of what you have doen to yours though. i would like to see it.

i have been thinking about that as well...just to keep it in the Yamaha family and what is holding me back is the fear of not being able to find parts...I guess this is somewhat reassuring but still...

there is not much that interchanges. nothing as far as cages 12 bars and stuff. they are some places you can get a crash cage for the 919 but they are not as strong as the si cages and some of the others. a company called venture cycles i think it is makes some mounts that replace the grab bar for different things that i have thought about getting and make a 12 bar coming from them. have not went that far yet.
