nope! all he needs is another frame! seriously tho. gsxrs are famous for breaking at the weld at the neck of the bike. just throwing that out there..

tru..only k7 1000's had weak frames..i had mine craked from left side...by contacting suzuki they denied that its my fault cuz i do wheelies and this bike is not made for wheelies ...had to replace frame out of my pocket cost me 1700 and some chp bs to restamp the vin#....long story short....well on 09 i dont think you need a oil pick up it should be ok just add lil extra oil...thats all he be good to do highway wheelies...

If the oil pickup is at an angle like the 01-03 then yes!!
Also depends if your friend is doing them at BP or lower?
If near BP then yes, and if he's riding them out to redline then yes. Overtime your sucking foam (combination of oil/air) which will damage your motor and over time sieze it. Will it seize within 6months. Probably not. Year. Maybe not. Eventually, yes.

unless im mistaken, and im sure someone will correct me, they dont even make oil pickups for anything after '03... if you have any more questions bout the gxr look @ the help and how to page - there's a sticky there at the top of the page.
