I am about to buy an '01 f4i with 11k miles in pretty good shape for $2700. Just about completely stock, with some scratches here and there. I wanted to know if that sounds about right. There is nothing wrong with the bike, so I'm starting to think the market is getting soft.

Question: Does that sound like an appropriate price? Too much, or a good deal? What would you pay for it?

If if has clean title and not too many repairs needed its an ok price

Should be lower but it is riding season

Thanks guys, do you think I can pick one up cheaper in a couple months? I doubt the price difference will be all that much and probably isnt worth the wait, but should there be economic fallout it could get cheap .

 

take money with you say here is 2200 cash I found another one like your same condition so i thought I would offer you this since we talked first? mentioning 2700 is steep for a bike that old...
I seen 2007 gixxers going for 5000-5500 in mint condition, and as far as im concerned 01 f41 doesnt have the value of those gixxers... IMHO....

 

If its clean title and runs good then thats a decent price

its not a rip off but i just bought mine a month ago for 1600. mine was in good mechanical shape and has clean title but was beaten on a good bit. but mine was also ready to stunt with handbrake, sprockets, cage and 954 front end. so even though it wasnt pretty i did get a lot of goodies with it. so i think if you hold out you could do better but if you got the dough now and want it now it wouldnt be a bad buy

 

do you plan on stunting it out?? If so, i would hold off. There is always f4is setup on here for that price, if not cheaper. Better than buying the bike and then putting another G into it ya know?
