what clipon setup works best for you? HHD top triple VS FTI 50 mm extension

what clipon setup works best for you? HHD top triple VS FTI 50 mm extension
i have a f4i with 929 front end, i run my clipons on top and i'm gonna get either the HHD top triple or the FTI 50mm fork extension.

Both are 235$

I just want to know what works best for you, if any one tried both whats their opinions, pro & con.

The only issue with vortex/hohey if you look at the pics you cant pull them back any farther than where you see them here. The bolts cant be tightened, unless the stock tree is used.

I do think that I am th only one that has ran both. I had a problem with the hohey digging in to the nut under the triple and having to tighten it every time I rode. I have also run the full throttle Inc fork extensions and they are great if you like aftermarket clip ons which I do not. I am working with bill to come up with something different for my clip on problem. I just really only run 636 flipped clip ons so. They were both ok besides having to constantly tighten the hohey triple.

Loosen both tripples and turn the fork while the clip-on is tight on it.

wrong!! just tighten the clip-on & then loosen the pinch bolts on the fork tube and rotate it

I just flipped my vortex mounts so that the bolts were on the outside of the fork tube.

No real problem I just need duplicate copys of 636 clip ons that are about a inch longer to get everything set up how I like it. I just hate all the aftermarket clip ons

I run stock f4i clipons, swapped and flipped and extended, untill I get vortex ones or these break, there pretty tough, and look hella hot.

Heres my f4i setup... Hohey 929 upper tripple w 1000rr forks and Vortex clipons flipped and swapped and I like it just dandy. I wish I didnt have to loosen the pinch bolts on the triples to adjust the clipons but oh well.
