Re: stunting a 07 gixxer 600

06-07 gixxers are hot garbageinconsistant idle and the frames break at the front weldsTRUST ME...i stunted a 06 and an 07 600 for the last year and snapped the frame on one then got smart and sold the otherthe 06-07's DONT need an oil pickup but you will need an impaktech dual slider stunt cage,a impaktech "nate plate",and a impaktech reinforced 12 bar or roundbar they are decent bikes until the frames snap if you set them up correctlyget an f4i or 636 and dont look back

I second that. I took the secondary butterflies out of the throttle body and it gave me better Idle.

Re: stunting a 07 gixxer 600

I rock an 07 for the streets. No oil pick up. Just sprocket, chain, cage and some other minor mods. I heard about improving the idle with removing the secondary butterflies out of the throttle body though. I might do it if I make this bike my main stunter.

Re: stunting a 07 gixxer 600

If you are going to stunt that gsxr get a FULL impakteck setup including nate plate. Its your only hope of having that gsxr stay together.

Re: stunting a 07 gixxer 600

I'll tell you what, as much **** as people talk about the 06-07 gsxr's I ****** love my bike. Yea there are some issues you will have to deal with along the way such as buying/welding and buying more and more subframes because they are garbage. They idle is good if you do the clean air mod and remove the secondary butterflies. A nate plate is a must. Other then that its a great bike. I've rode the f4I's and just don't seem to like how they feel. It's up to you, but don't let people change your decision. If your willing to spend a little money from time to time its a good bike to stunt

Re: stunting a 07 gixxer 600

I did a tip sensor mod and removed the secondary butterflies. I also did the set valve mod for the exhaust. Cage, supcage and 12 bar. I should have gone with impaktech and will be switching over. And a nate plate is a must. Especially if you are new and still getting the hang of it... like me. All in all, not a bad bike. I'd rock an OMR subcage with folding pegs. I'm afraid my solid pegs are going to twist and break the subframe. There is also a rumor about the necks on the frames being weak. Jason Britton broke a few. I haven't heard too much about them from other people.
