Thumbs down Headlight/Upper Fairing removal etc

I understand after you've smashed enough plastics and headlights one might sway from replacing them again, But the suck part about it is that these bikes dont really look much like streetbikes anymore, more like those euro super-mo-re-tard bikes. Seems to be the "trend" now, I've seen bikes around the city without a scratch on them yet they have taken off the entire front.

It's a "Sport" not a "trend"....either you or in or out . Do whatever it takes to step up the game .

I think you may be referring to the term "Posers" in your area though.

It is out of a need to ride that people go street fighter. If you want to look euro go a head. But if you have no money to buy new plastic just rock a head light instead. I'll ride anything. If I had a moped I would wheelie it

I would rather invest in zip ties and duct tape, guess I just love the look of a fully plastic'd bike opposed to the streetfighter look.

Jimmy, so are you saying that by me leaving my plastics on I'm not stepping up the game?? wheres my screwdriver! and yes I guess maybe I did want to say "posers" but I'm not one to badmouth ppl, either should you come to think of it b/c those "posers" buy your videos and come to all your shows.

i dont think he is sayin if u leave ur plastics on your not steppin up. hes sayin some people dont have cash for plastics so they ride around without em. if u had to wait to get new plastics everytime you ride then ur not goin to get better as fast. i dont like streetfighter look either but if i *** up my front fairing then streetfighter it is.

No doubt man, when I cant stretch/ torque that front fairing on any more, then its all about the streefighter look. Not b/c I like the look as I really dont. But simply cuz it keeps me riding. I sure wouldnt mind not having to restraighten my front fairing stay anymore.
But for now I'll keep investing in the stainless wire and duct tape. It seems to have done the job so far.
Cheers

Let me explain myself in 4th grade terms . I basically said, "Do whatever it takes to step up the game". Either it is on a Full Fairing bike or a Euro, use what ever style you fell most comfortable with to help step-up your game.

Also, there is Posers in every sport and hobby out there. I was the biggest poser of all my first 2yrs of riding. All it took was a few good crashes, and the Poser Stage of my life was finally over. I am not knocking them either, just accepting the fact that they are out there and always will be .

Oh yeah.... 2 + 2 = 4 .....see it is true, you do learn something new every day .

Jimmy seems like the kind of guy that got slapped around in high school, now he's a stuntlife moderator so he's always got some wise *** remarks to spit out.

I wish I went to your high school so I could have slapped you around too you little bitch!!

I don't understand why the guys that like the streetfighter look don't just ride zrx's or gs500's instead to start with. Or even an sv, fz1, or z1000 even. They are still cool bikes.
