those things are the biggest waste of money ive ever seen

 

how do you figure??

 

why's that? it allows you to run a damper while having the comfort of DB's for someone who wants to have both. Dont see why its the biggest waste of money ever

 

those darwin bars look as hell! I was looking into a set of those so I can keep my scotts damper.

 

Those darwin bars are the best part on my bike period. took them off my 03 and put them on my 06 and went to clip ons on my 03 and absolutely hate them. IMO these are the best setup of bars made

Heres a pic of my 03 with um mounted. The bars are a pair of pro tapers i cut the center out of. Dont have a pic of my 06 yet but will soon

 

that looks like a nice setup! Since I started working on my stoppies I got a slow leak in one of my seals. This might be a good excuse to swap front ends and put on the showa gix 750 forks I have laying around in the garage!!

 

Whatever bars came stock on my crf 450 is what I have on there....i run clip-ons on my motorcycle

 

No dirt bars are good unless they are on your DIRT BIKE

Kelm just buy some vortex clip-ons and leave the ugly dirt bars in the Dirt

 

ive raced motocross for like 12 years now. tried tons of diff bends of bars. some change how i ride a little bit but nothiing drastic. on my stunt bike i think i could run ANY bend. the changes are minimal..

the biggest feeling of change will be height from bend to bend. low bars vs like cr hi bars.. youd def notice.

honestly though on a street bike.. i think any dirt bike bars will be fine.

1 1/8" will hold up better im sure
