954 for first stunt bike?

Hey all,
I've been riding for a couple years now and I'm going to start stunting. I bought my friends 03 cbr 954 for a great price because the thing needed some love. I dont know whether to use this as my first stunt bike or make it pretty and sell it, using the money for something else? I see 954s at stunt shows and such and I ride an R1 and love the liter power, but I dont know if its the best bike to start with. Any input on this is appreciated...

Re: 954 for first stunt bike?

If I didnt give a **** I wouldnt have posted it. Actually I was with him when he bought it from a local shop owner. IT was badass when we picked it up probably two years ago, the first liter bike I rode. Flat black with silver honda symbols. I have no idea how it got so bad. He never even rides. I picked up a brand new tank in orlando, along with a new radiator and a new painted tail piece off a guy on craigslist and got all of them for 180$. But I'm at the point now where I could buy the fairing kit on ebay and have it back to new or replace the broken pieces, save the good tank and stunt it?

Jase learnt on one, a 600 would be easier, but there isnt anything wrong with a 954 as a stunt bike

Wicked bike for straight line combo's and stoppies

Everybody just jumps on the F4i bandwagon

if you havent stunted a 954 then dont comment on them
