Scraping that **** all the time while jumping around the bike.

Has anyone done this on your 636 05-06 and if so, where did you cut it?

Anyone got any pictures of it?

 

I think jorian did and I think it would be a great idea to cut it back cause I am constantly hitting when I come in hot to a circle

 

Yeah I saw that he has done it. After work im gonna go and check it out where and how I can cut it down.

The problem is my aftermarket exhaust. I dont want to cut the silencer down cause it will sound WAY to much haha.

 

I agree with you 100% on the loudness in the exhaust but I think I'm going to have to do it cause when I'm comming in at like 20mph and I try to turn in all that happens is scraping exhaust

you dont think thats how fast I come in at honestly :/ it feels like I am going that fast/ I dont have a speedo, and if I am going any slower then that its even worse then and I def do need to cut down my tail. I'd like to come into circles in second gear and shift down to first, I think I am going to try that this weekend.

 

You come in at < 5mph, seriously.

Any there is no way you're gonna come in and shift down and still go fast, you'd just slam down from the engine brake.

If you want to go fast, you come in fast and stay on the gas in whatever gear you're in.

I'm not saying you can't downshift and then do a circle. For the purpose of going faster though, it wouldn't work.

 

let the people judge what? what video is it, the one from spbikeshop where I did basically plain circles, I dont think there are any wheelies on any video of me that I came in fast on at all, on top of that I am talking about seat standers and foot in bar, I came in fast a couple of times the other night on ss circles and scraped pipe and got thrown off the side. I honestly dont know what kick you get out of ******* with me cause its ******* anoying.

 

I meant starting in second comming in fast and bringing it almost up to a point and downshifting, like in one motion doing a wide 2nd gear circle with my foot on the lft peg and in the seatand comming in tight then pulling in the clutch and bringing it to first

 

I honestly don't know what kick you get out of embellishing all your accomplishments. You're a good rider that is learning very fast, you don't need to make stuff up!
