I hate Vimeo! Everytime I go to watch a posted video when I click on the play button I get a black screen and I cannot watch it. You guys put alot of your videos on Vimeo and I wanna know why? I have never had a problem veiwing anything on YouTube, its always fast and there, whereas the few times I did get to view on Vimeo it was choppy and had to wait to finish uploading in the middle of the video. Whats up?

 

vimeos quality and the fact that you can download the videos as well so you can watch them over and over again make it the number one in my book

 

maybe its just your internet connection cause i never have a problem with vimeo

 

also your computer might just be to slow(video card/ram) to watch the vimeo videos thats why its so choppy (no offence)

 

Maybe, cause I can't watch them at work (where I look at SL), but at my house Vimeo seems to work alright. I didn't know you could download from vimeo, thats pretty badass.

 

i switched to vimeo. I got sick of editing footage on my computer with good quality and then losing it when i load it on youtube.

vimeo is way better quality video, have some better opitions, but it is kinda a bitch sometimes to upload with.

 

yeah all you have to do is become a member and while your logged in theres a choice at the bottom right corner of every video to download and you right click and save target as and then save it to wherever in your compy

 

I joined it thinkin that would help with playback, but it hasn't. It must be this older computer I have at work, I will check it out at home with my personal that has a good video card and lots or RAM. Thanks. Just tired of seeing all these videos at work that I cant ****** watch to kill time

Yeah same as here ..I hate vimeo cos it keeps laggin and sometimes it didnt work to play..so i rather youtube over vimeo.

 

i love vimeo....but i wont even click on ur vid if im at work...this comp was new in 01,ive put as much ram as it can hold and it still sounds like its gunna blow up every day.

after having a video up for 2 years they sent me a message about it

Yeah they killed the audio in 2 of my videos cause I had White Zombie and Rage Against the Machine on them. I couldn't even watch the video after that it just ruined the whole mood. *******...

 

I think they will leave the music as long as you throw the artist name and track on the video....
