Hi guys! I've just killed my engine on r6 2004 riding wheelies =( Is there any oil pick up or smthg like this to protect my engine? I overfilled 1 litre of oil more, but it dead
I'm from Russia and it takes about a month to buy parts. And we ride just 4 or 5 monthes while it's warm. So I need your advices =)

if you overfill your oil and dont do the kleen air mod youre pumping oil into your airbox and hydrolocking your engine. so make sure your engine is actually kicked and not just locked up from oil on top of the cylinders. pull the spark plugs out and then hit the starter, itll make a big *** mess but it gets the oil out of the cylinders. hopefully you got lucky and it didnt blow something out already.

There was some knock in the engine, when I assorted the engine, the left plane bearing between connecting rod and crankshaft was broken on 8 pieces (upper on 4 pieces and lower on 4 pieces too) and there was a small crack on the crankshaft on that place, where the bearing was destroyed.

that year only holds 2.75 quarts so if u put a extra litre in there it should have hydro locked really quick or been smoking like a freight train

But I have no problems with it. On the contrary it didn't enough oil when I rode wheelie.
Next time I'll do the kleen air mod.

+1 , 2 much oil is bad regardless, the only way that would halfway make sense is if your ALWAYS doing wheelies, which no1 is

If you had an extra litre in the engine there noway you didn't have enough in it, sounds like you just hydro locked it and **** broke down below. Most cases it just bends the rods.
