well ****

i cant figure out my h/b i have a 16x18 brembo with the hohey 4 piston and it works sweet but when i go out to ride it grabs real close to the bar but after riding for about 15 mins it will start grabbing almost another click out like i adjusted it i know its not my master because i had a magura before it did the same thing the only thing i can think it could be is from the 4 piston caliper and i dont think its a problem with mine because ive had this happen with two diff bikes with two diff calipers

so my only guess is that its because the caliper is stationary and has no side movement and when the fluid heats up it makes it grab farther out??? but gsxrs have the same non moving calipers so does anyone else have this happen

Re: well ****

From what i understand....a brembo 19x18 is what you use for a 4 piston and a 16x18 for a stock piece because of the ratios cause too much feel with the 16x18.

Idk though, i dont have a brembo

a 19x18 with a 4 piston caliper sounds like overkill to me

Re: well ****

bleed it again and bleed the master. The brembo's have a zirc fitting dont they? crack the fitting, then squeeze the lever slow, tighten the fitting then release the lever. I did my magura again last night and more air came out.

Re: well ****

sounds like air in the lines because once pressure builds up it is okay
