Re: Relocating Ignition Help

Get some aluminum straps from the hardware store that are decently thick and bend them or drill them on a vice, custom fabrication at its finest

Thanks Guys,
I figure for now zip ties (2) came out pretty good and rock solid. No chance of ever getting kicked.
Like it was supposed to be there from the factory.

Re: Relocating Ignition Help

Yeah I sat there looking at the other side for like 20min. thinking how in the heck do people do this?

Still would like to see some pics of others, cause I know some come up with some cool ideas and brackets. I like it there but would def. like to make a snazzy bracket holder thingy for it.

Re: Relocating Ignition Help

piece of cake reroute them. Ill post a pic of mine tomorrow i have 2 big zip ties around the rear shock mount holding mine on, it sticks out the left side. Easy to get to and you never have to worry about kickin it.

I personally kicked my ignition key while jumpin from an SS to a special K and shut my bike off at BP doin like 15mph in 2nd. I broke my collarbone when it threw me over the bars so fast i didn't even know what happened. Maniged to pick my bike up and ride rest of the way home from work then to the ER and was slinged up for a month and couldn't do **** for months.

Best I can explain it frays, if you need more pics or info. let me know. Also helps a ton to take off your tank, probably stating the obvious but oh well.
