my boys got one wants me to set it up for him, gimme the lowdown

 

its a 250 super moto ..tell him to work on throttle control ...lol Handbrakes are for ****** ... J/k but I dont run one

 

i dont have one yet but the full throttle hand brake looks like the way to go. its kinda spendy. if i had the money for one it would be on there.

 

do they need to be geared much for slow stuff?

 

The only reason you need to gear a bike down at all is for circles so yeah if you want to turn circles you gotta gear them down. I dont have a handbrake yet on my crf250 mostly because the rear caliper piston is so small a handbrake is not going to have much stopping power. Trying to figure out what to do with that now.
