needs help..... the freaking instructions suck that came with the kit the tail light has red, black, blue, brown, and white. i know the wire harness with three wires is for the taillight but what colors go to what it is a integreated light been playing with it and still isnt working i know im going to get some hate but its all good as long as i get it working any help would be greatly appreciated

 

just try each wire until it works. unless someone can chime in with the answer that would be the fastest way to figure it out.

 

does the wiring harness on the bike have matching colors. i do know that one wire goes to the left turn signal and one goes to the right.

i'm at work right now or i would go out and look at my bike. but if i remember right my light had a connector for the brake and running light and one for left turn signal and one for right turn signal. all i had to figure out was if i had right and left hooked up right.

 

^^^^He is right. I just put one on my buddies bike yesterday and it was basically plug and go. What kit are u using. If the wires on the tail light dont match the colors of the harness then read the directions to find out which one is hot ground and brake for the tail light. If u threw the directions out then start playing with different wire combos.

 

yep plug the big plug into the big plug and then one of the single plugs into one of the turn signal connector from the harness, turn your left turn signal on. with the key on of course, see if its blinking left. if its blinking right switch them. if it doesn't blink hit the turn signal to the right....
