seat down no handers
seat down no handers
so this is 1 of the tricks i sorta never learned.
i can rock 'em for maybe 10 feet but thats it...gets wobbly and it drops down.
tire pressure is as low as it gets.
does hooking your leg under the peg help with balancing the bike at all?

Re: seat down no handers
put ur *** against the ledge that goes up to the back seat. no need to hook your foot with ur bike. turn the idle way the hell up to begin with, the higher the better while ur learning the brake inputs. clutch up but dont touch the brake until ur behind balance point. then u just tap it to catch the bike and let off, idle should start pulling you then its minor brake inputs to keep the bike in balance. i run 23 pounds always. lower pressure doesnt always help
and use your arms and upper body to balance. if its falling off in one direction a quick lean in the other direction should straightn it out, and let the bike come back more while your getting it straight.
These things helped me out, it may be different for u. balance comes with seat time for sure. I rolled 10 footers for a while. Once i got it I could roll for a mile on my f4i but my new 636 is a while different story.......im having to learn all over again.

Re: seat down no handers
When I lived in pgh this dude told me to let go of the bars as soon as possibe in the wheelie (dont try to ride it out smooth first) just put all your weight on your ***, bang it to balance point and let go. Helped me a lot when I was learning. I have to disagree with the psi point tho, when I was runnin 20 to 28lbs I could rock nhders as long as I wanted, now that I run 40psi theyre much harder and not as consistent.
Re: seat down no handers
This is one of my favortive trick , when u r doin sitdown no hand ...lean lil bit back more then you will probably get more feet than what your doing, also try put li bit more higher idle too ...i d say around 4 k and lean bit back more.
Re: seat down no handers
i've tried evveeerything....leaning back, letting go as soon as it comes up, low tire pressure, high idle, 2nd gear...can't get past the 10 foot mark.
deez SIT downs are killing me
i'm gonna try hookin my foot under the peg...i can lean back alot more that way...eventually i wanna be a ble to do 'em like manny does 'em...leaned waaaaay the **** back. looks

whoops
