Does the fuel pump prime? If so then it is somthing else. If not then I am lost because you did the tip over secor correct.

 

not sure if the 08 is the same but my buddys 06 we took the front cowl off and did not hook the senor in the front cowl back up and it would not fire up.

on my 03 i just connected with solder and a jumper wire the two outer wires on the harness side but I disconnected the entire tps left it off and it worked maybe the wire nut is not secure try crimping or better yet solder

 

just put it back where it belongs , if it starts then part it out and work on the wires.
why oesnt people have their common sense noawadays.

fuel pump dose not make that noise i guess it dosent prime

 

why dont you plug back in the tos and see if it primes like that. it should be on your upper somewhere.

 

i believe you are missing one wire somewhere to hook it up. try to redone everything to make sure everything is connected.
