no front brake. Skid, lean, clutch pop, modulate throttle, repeat.

Re: Learning how to drift...tip me

this is how i explained it to my boy and he got it pretty quick.. Remember back when you were on your pedal bike and you used to do foot down 180 skids?? well remember when you would put your foot down?? yeah.. thats when you pop the clutch, give the head alittle shimmy as you let the clutch out, it gives you a wider start.. and no.. NO FRONT BRAKE!

Re: Learning how to drift...tip me

I like to go fast so i do use the front brake but only to slow down and set myself up for my next drift the its all clutch and throttle form there. don't use the front brake while drifting or you will be highsiding which i can tell you form experience hurts.

Re: Learning how to drift...tip me

check out this company for radiator supports..
www.damagecontrolproducts.webs.com

If your slamming your bike down from wheelies those zip ties are not going to last very long.

Re: Learning how to drift...tip me

you´ll see what suits you, I´m not even thinking I´m just skidding and then let go of the clutch lol

still lowsides quite often in the start

Re: Learning how to drift...tip me

Speed depends on your comfort level. if i have enough room i hit second gear so you can do the math. the more comfortable you get the more you'll be letting it loose.
