Im thinkin about switching from db bars 2 clip ons.. anyone switched and seen a big difference? 954? rode an f4i with them and felt more comfortable but it was a different bike 2? smaller.. lighter.. just curious if anyone had switched and which ones seemed more comfortable.. thanx..

 

i got an f4i and nothing but clip ons

 

i think its whatever feels better to you. to me, i like the bars better but clipons feel pretty good when they are turned out and on top of the tree

I was all for clipons till I actually ran db bars. Now when i get back on my buddies f4i with clipons and I hate it. Db all the way

 

i ran DB bars for the last year and recently went to clip ons,flipped/switched on top of tree and it feels and looks WAY better...DB bars belong on a DIRT BIKEstoppys are better with DB bars but they get in the way for pull thrus etc...AND they look GAY AS ****!!!!

go FF or go home!!! SF is for peeps that either cant afford an upper and headlight or they arent good enough to keep the bike on the rubber***!!!!!

 

I rocked my 636 for a year full fairing and the 900rr before that, do a lil reinforcement to the uppers and ur golden and you don't need to take out a loan for an upper and headlight

As far as "dirt bars belong on dirt bikes" crap, we put a lot of **** on our bikes that don't belong on there . Rock what ya like, f4i's 3/4 fairing and db's is gangster

I ran mx bars over a year, thought they were the greatest thing, the DAY I switched to clip-ons, I doubled the amount of circles I could do, and became way more consistent.

 

DB bars are gayer than a 2 dollar bill. Flipped & switched fo life!

i had dirtbars back in 05 main thing i noticed when goin back to clip ons is that i didnt hate looking at my bike anymore.....oh btw a 954 is actually lighter than an f4i

 

Thats EXACTLY why my F4i is SF!!.... hit the nail on the head with that one.
