Whats up with tice's beastly motor?!?!
ok so i keep hearing about tices motor and people talking about whats done to it. Tice might hate me for this but im out of the 636 game and on to the new hotness so i thought id tell everyone what is up with that motor
As some of you may know tices bike is my old stunt ***** that i beat the hell out of and frankistiened till i found what i liked and worked best
i have 2 setups to tell about first is the motor currently in tices bike to clear the air it is a very simple build that even the biggest of squids can do so here you go...
what i did was simply take a 600 bottom end with the slipper clutch and better gearing and installed the 636 pistons w. rings (no rods), 636 cylinders, 636 head with cams. this is a very simple swap mainly becuase the kawis were built right and you can take the whole top-end off with the motor still in the bike and as anyone who has rode tices bike can tell you that thing ****** pulls like a beast

ive mentioned this to some and i wish i still had this setup.
basically i stuffed an 05-06 motor into and 03-04 it fits right in its a tight fit but the top 2 motor mounts line up and the bottom one lines up the only one that doesnt line up is the top rear mount basically 3 or of 4 fit sooooo your good
now what makes the differnece is that i used the 03-04 everything (throttle bodies, airbox, wiring, ecu) the only mod is you have to replace 2 plugs on the harness the cam position sensor and crank position sensor.
this motor was by far the smoothest it felt just as crisp as the 05-06 but had that bottom end pull of the 03-04 and was as hard to make stall as my 600/636 hybrid

my new current project is me and the mad doctor dave cutler are making the new R6 a stuntable bike all the info is top secret for now but all i gotta say is 2 years ago eveyone said the 636 was a garbage bike and sucked for stunting and look at it now....

you saw tices F4i and youve known tice long enough to know that cleaning and maintenance is not in tices vocabulary
every one of my bikes got taken apart every 3 months for a deep cleaning re lubing and refreshing.... checked everything and changed all fluids that bike never failed on me
so tice you deserve
actually that reminds me of when i sold it to tice and he said it ran like crap come to find out he read on a forum to remove the secondary throttle valves

Those bikes killed it in 600cc racing, down here the 618cc is still legal to race with in 600cc class.....

i wasnt aware it actually changed the cc's tho i thought stroke an all was the same just diffrent piston diameter and head valume but yea either way its killer i really just wanted the shorter gear ratio and slipper clutch
and to who ever mentioned doing it to the 05-06 im not sure but im gonna take a guess and say yea
oh yea and the comment about killin it on 636 in 04 hell yea i know but you know hw everyone is about F4easys everyone talked **** said it would fall apart, wouldnt idle blah blah .......personally i need a bike with power not an F4scooter
