Has any one tried this or heard of anyone having success in putting a '02 GSXR 1000 Rear wheel on a '03 GSXR 600 with the 750 swingarm? Trying something new and was looking for some input. I know they are the same body style and was told my 750 swingarm was the same as the 1000, but didnt know if there was any odd-ball things about this swap i havent heard of yet. Pics would be awesome but any input would be great. Thanks guys.

 

i think the widths are slightly different. i know the part numbers are different. with the right spacers i think they will work though.

 

It should work as long as you have the 750 swing arm on there. but i would check with a dealer for the match ups. goodluck

itll work just fine. The 03 1000 wheel is interchangable with the 01-02 1000 wheel, which is in turn interchangable with the 00-03 750 wheel. Youll need either 750 or 1000 spacers for it to work. If you need em I got em. If you want pics, LMK. I have an 01 600 with an 08 1000 motor and 03 750 swingarm with 04 1000 wheels. frankenbike.

i got it on my crunchy piece, 03gsxr600. spacers n ur golden! there's no huge benefit except for looks, the 750 n 1k are braced the 600 looks like an f4i/03-04 636 swingarm

 

yes you add more weight
