For those who stunt them can you give me any feedback. how it rides how it pulls. i don't run a bar so the subframe strength is not a problem. how is the power etc...

Re: 05-08 r6

ive played on one some, it seems like it didnt make very good power til a little higher in the RPMs then other bike i rode, also after a few good mouse traps the fairings had cracked, and the owner actually sheared off the bolts on the lower subframe mount.

it took me awhile to get used to it cuz it has a really aggressive seat position and the rear set sits up high as **** and the tail shape made it hard for to stand staggered.

Bill Dixon is murdering it tho on that bike.

Re: 05-08 r6

the 05 to 08 r6?

the years go 03 to 05 which is the old body style then in 06 they came out with the new r6 with the pointy tail body style i guess you would call more of the racing style... and since the old body style r6's were so popular they carried it over into 06 to 09 but it's called the r6(S) now.

i have the 04.. and it has a good amount of power. the throttle is more touchy compared to other bikes i have driven. it takes some getting used to.. but i like my bike alot. with a good cage clip ons. handbrake setup. subcage you should be good to go, to start.

No, 05 is the only year with inverted forks

05 only as far as the "S" model, 03-04 and 06-09 have standard, all the newer "R" models have inverted.
