ive been rocking my r1 for 2 seasons and everyone around here has had to hear my broke *** talk about how im gettin a bike for the last 2 yrs .

i finally picked up a stunter. 2007 zx6 -
-2 up front. 57 in rear. new forks , brand new subframe, powers subcage scary gary bars. SI cage, new acerbis light. - still looks a bit rough but im gonna go through it this weekend with the help of my mechanic friends. wire up a switch for the fan. maybe new brake pads cuz the HB seems a bit tough.

anyone else stunting an 07 ? hows it holding up for ya ???

you guys just running clip ons ? i wanted dirtbars cuz i figure they will hold up better in my crashing . i hate those bars though, i was just gonna get a wider pair i think

 

you seen my bikes man, 636 clip ons flipped is the money shot. thats all i ran on both my 05 and 06 and now my 05 r6 i put 636 clipons on this too. i had dirtbars back in 05 on my gsxr and not only are they ugly they just didnt feel good to me either. flipped 636 clip ons pushed out are perfect, nice wide grip and lots of leverage but no ugliness. dirtbars are more likely to bend as they stick out farther. with a SI cage i never hit my clip ons, although the 07 motormounts are sorta low you might have more of an issue with rollovers, id recomend putting the sliders on that cage with that bike to combat the rollover a bit.

 

thanks for the tips, i have the stock clip ons for that bike. ill figure something out. i just wanna wheelie the damn thing for now. i need lots of practice lol

 

I have a 08 zx6r sick cage, 905 stay and 12 bar, clip ons flipped, gpr stabilzer, and some other ****, long story short been a damn good bike and havn't had a problem stunting it yet......

Glad you posted this man, I have heard good things about stock 636 clip ons but I thought they were a different size than the r6.. I am going to have to pick up a set now and try them out!

theyre only the same size if you have the 05 r6 with inverted forks. the 03/04 and 06+ r6s have conventional forks and wont fit the 636 clip ons.

 

ill be out sat and sunday im sure! i have to do an oil change monday, and wire up the fan to a toggle.

i think this needs a clean air mod - so if it does im gonna need g-reg to do that

hit it up with some paint today. im gonna tape off some stuff and spray the side fairings too so i dont have to take the cage off! bike looks ten times better now

 

I'm likeing my 07, only thing to compare it to was my 99 zx. I've done clean air, flipped triple with 0 degree FI clip ons, SI cage and round bar, 60 in the rear currently stock(16) up front or 14 or 15, OMR subcage(Awesome), ESD pegs front n rear, hohey reaer sets and FTI HB.
Reinforce the motor mounts, have a gusset welded before it cracks or snaps.
go have some fun with that thing.

dude takin the cage n **** off is cake, at least take the plastics off to paint um, its an 07 you don't want it to be completely shitty lookin just yet lol.

and +1 to ditchin those scary gary bars, those things are gahbage. Throw on a nice set of tags

their is a dent in the frame. but the previous owner has pwned this bike several times already lol. ill look into it! i also need a round bar. all i have is stock exhaust back there right now

i might rob my bros renthals...and this paint is temporary, once i get a few crashes out of it im gonna tear it down and do a new scheme i think! for now i really like the black,. looks pimp for a hr long rattle job
