got a wrecked 05 636 from a guy and his nephew wrecked it and stuck him with the payments so i got it from him and after it was wrecked the guy started it and it had some pinched wires and it burnt up the harness. so i put new harness new ecu new relay box and new pulse coil. still no start i checked the plugs and no spark still? im friggin lost on this i mean there is nothing left to change? i checked all the plug ins about 10 times and everything is plugged in. help me out!!!! or buy it for $2k no title.

check the tip over switch , kickstand switch, clutch lever switch

kick stand switch works cuz it wont crank if stand is down. and clutch swithc is good cuz wont turn over if not pulled in and tip sensor looks good its in the right spot and up checked it with test light its got power going to it ther is 3 wires blue one has power but other 2 no power so i think one is ground and one will send power if it is activated? but no spark? :bang head

just checked the pulse coil again and no power there is 2 wires one all black and one black with a yellow stripe? any one know which one posta have power?

when you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump prime , it will be about a 2 or 3 second buzzing sound not to be confused with the throttle bodies cycling

i hear the throttle bodies cycling but cant realy hear the fuel pump but if i take the tank off there is fuel all the way up the the intake box for the top injectors so it has to be pumping. but ive started may bike withouot the tank even on the bike just a lil shot of starting fluid to get her goin but even with that nothing? dosent have any spark and im friggin lost?

fck now i checked the fuel pump and nothing there? does that affect the spark thoe? i guss if the pump is froze up that might tell the ecu not to fire? fck what happend to caburators? that sht was easy to work on lol

ok mabe i should just stop posting i just took the tank off and ran hot wires to the fuel pump and fcking shot gas all up in my new dc's damnit. so i guess i eliminated that the fuel pump is working but it was not pumping when it was on the bike cuz the lines where dry as **** but the pump does work.

ur ***** not making any sense.... no wait... ur not making any sense and dont try to explain it again.

1. plug the fuel pump p, unplug the line from the rail an put it in a water bottle. turn the key and if fuel comes out then ur good to go on the harness. runing power to the pump tells u the pumps working but still makes u kick yourself in frustration.

2. have u over ride the tip sensor yet? if not u may need to replace it! hapened on my 05 gsxr 750, that shat sounded fine but was bad, bike turned on then turned right off on sometime not at all. just cus its in the right place dont mean ****

3. coil: power black w/ yellow stripe

4. check ALL of your fuses

5. try the old ecu, my harness pinches n bike wuldnt do anything but turn signals n dash lights, hit the dealer mode n it threw every code but the kick stand. ecu shorted out but there are other things to short out. maybe u bought a bad ecu?

6. does ur f1 light blink or stay on?

7. how do YOU know u dont have spark?

My friend had this SAME problem with his 04 750 and all it was, was a fuse. So make sure you check em ALL like Tek said....
