yea thats what i thought... it takes a lot for my bike to hit 200 so i dont see why his would be up that high. it prob is coolant, but no fan came on... even around 230 degrees. not normal huh?

YEAH shat i dont know, check the overflow and see if there is some coolant in there after it runs hot and is leaking. There just might be too much in the system but it usually corrects itself if thats the prob, just check for leaks in the radiator or lines.

Fan kicks in at 210. Check the fuse! If fuse is good fan might be burnt out.

flush the system, then search on this site and google can't remember but think i flushed left the cap off then squeezed on the main radiator hoses to get the air out. Put the cap on let it get hot and then cool off. Take the cap off add fluid and add to the overflow if necessary. if your just letting the bike sit there and idle and not move any air mine would hit 230 in the garage last summer... do a search I posted something like this last year and a flush and getting the air out was my problem.

and make sure that you get it where it is "primed" on the coolant. I was a dumbass and couldnt figure out why my r6 wasnt pumping any coolant. i had forgot to fill the radiator and let it cover the pump internals. it was just trying to pump air and couldnt get any coolant to flow.
